“A jazz singer steeped in experience with a “no fear” soul…
The double-shot of experience and exuberance is what
characterizes Krebs’ art.” (All About Jazz)
A Baltimore native, now longtime citizen of L.A., Susan has been an actor and theater improviser for many years (i.e. Film: 28 Days; TV: Mad Men; Improv: War Babies), but her passion has always been for the music, performing at venues such as Vitellos, LA County Museum of Art, Blue Whale -- as well as in theaters, galleries and living rooms with her jazz salon, ThemeScene.
For several years, Susan has happily made her way up to the beautiful Central Coast to play with Adam Levine’s trio — @ D’Anbino’s, and last summer, @ Coalesce Chapel as guest artist of SLO Jazz Fed. She is thrilled to make her debut at Puffers ~ with Adam Levine, Dylan Johnson, Dean Giles and Bob Bennett *
Critically acclaimed multimedia concert/recording project,
JAZZ AVIARY, a Celebration of Birds & the Universal Music We Share;
“Simple Gifts” (2015), and “SPRING ~ Light Out of Darkness” (2018) with SK Chamber Band; and most recently, “trio WoRK”, a collaborative effort with guitar & bass.
